Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars is a brand new strategy game heading to PC and consoles

Kalypso Media has confirmed it is publishing Palindrome Interactive’s brand new strategy IP called Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars. As you can probably guess from the title this is a far cry from Kalypso’s Tropico series where it’s all about running an island. In Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars the vampire clans are at war for domination of the realm, with players being able to choose one of three clans to lead into the war for complete control of a vampire empire.

The first clan is the Dracul clan which resides in Warmont where a peace of sorts exists between vampires and humans. As long as the humans are willingly offering blood sacrifices to the vampires then things will remain peaceful. This peace is enforced by the rulers of this land  Vlad and Cecilia Dracul. However, the Nosfernus clan is moving in the east in a land where no human dwells. The Nosfernus are moving because they need the blood of the humans again. The final clan are the Moroia who live in the north where they practice blood magic. Neither humans nor the other vampire clans go to their lands by choice.

In gameplay there are two screens with Kingdom to work out overall strategy of your realm and manage its finer details to ensure it remains strong, while Combat is all about the battle. There are some card game elements put in too with each of the vampire lords having a deck of their own which has abilities that could make or break a battle. Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars will be releasing in September for PC and on PS4, Xbox One, and Switch in Q1 2020.
