Destroy a virus in a little old lady’s PC in combat platformer Exception

Exception is a new combat platformer set inside an little old lady’s computer overrun by ‘Titan’, a totalitarian virus set to destroy the operating system. Featuring “good ol’ run/jump/attack controls” the game has your chasing about zapping the virus in small timed levels but there iss a twist, you can rotate and move the levels to open up new pathways.

It’s actually easier to see it in action than me try to explain, so here is a nice video.

“As a hardcore NES nerd, I feel inspired by games like Ninja-Gaiden and Castelvania and feel like simplicity is the key to a great gaming experience,” said Will Traxler, Founder of Traxmaster Software. “Exception has this old school vibe with a modern rotating twist that takes advantage of today’s 3D technology. It’s a game which is easy to pick up and play and will bring joy for a novice gamer just as much as it will for a professional speedrunner.”

Exception will be launching on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch this summer.
