PES 2020, sorry… eFootball PES 2020 might have a spangly new name, but Konami are following a familiar pattern with the run up to its release. Today they’ve announced the date and contents for the first demo for the game.
Hitting PS4, Xbox One and PC via Steam on 30th July, it will feature Arsenal, Barcelona and Boca Juniors in a line up of 14 licensed teams. Additionally, there will be online gameplay and the edit mode that’s a staple for anyone that doesn’t fancy Arsenal’s arch rivals being London Blues.

The full game will be available on 10th September, but there’s no getting away from the name change, which has drawn a fair bit of ridicule. Konami insist that the new eFootball branding will see the game reach more players around the world, with the announcement trailer showcasing some of the evolved gameplay and the new Matchday mode.
Matchday has club fans compete against rivals each week with every point earned going towards victory for the fanbase. Master League gets an update too where a dialogue system allows players to control the player and manager story. You can choose to be managers such as Zico, Maradona, and Cruyff, Camp Nou will remain an exclusive stadium for PES and will be joined by Allianz Parque , El Monumental, Emirates Stadium, and Estadio Alberto J.Armando.
