Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy is coming to Switch in November

Rejoice Layton fans as Nintendo has confirmed that Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy Deluxe Edition will be launching for Switch on November 8th. This isn’t a new entry to the Professor Layton series of games though as Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy originally released in 2017 for mobile and 3DS. At the time it fared fairly well in our write up with Jim writing, “It’s another great Layton adventure you won’t want to miss out on with enough puzzles to keep you going for a long time.”

What’s the difference between the deluxe edition and the original edition that released a couple of years ago then? Nintendo and Level-5 have helpfully pointed out the changes which you can check below.

■NEW PUZZLES: This Deluxe Edition includes more than 40 brand-new puzzles and additionally, some refined puzzles from the Nintendo 3DS version.
■Unlocked DLC: Content that was previously released as paid DLC, including the “Daddy’s Girl” and “Luke Lookalike” outfits, are unlocked.
■New Outfits: More than 50 new outfits have been added, all of which can be obtained through gameplay.
■Improved Layout and Enhanced Graphics: Key clues and essential information for each puzzle is now viewable on one screen, and all graphics have been remastered in HD.

In the game players take on the role of Katrielle Layton, daughter of the esteemed professor, who needs to solve a number of puzzles to solve the case that has been troubling her.
