Liberated is a tech-noir interactive comic heading to PC and consoles

Atomic Wolf Games has revealed that its tech-noir comic styled game Liberated will be released later this year on PC and Switch, with PS4 and Xbox One versions to follow at a later time. The game is style to look like a comic book with the view switching between panels as the story and action unfold. The plot itself is based in the near future where everything is known about every individual thanks to the use of social media and banking apps, allowing the ruling class to control those lower on society’s rungs.

Each panel will have players learning about the world as well as solving puzzles, conducting some stealth operations, and engaging in shootouts with various forces in an effort to do what is right. However, players will actually experience the story from both sides of the conflict and find that not everything is as black and white as the comic’s art.
