Divinity: Original Sin 2 has cross-save between Steam and the newly released Nintendo Switch version and you would expect that to be the work of some coders tapping away at keyboards and pouring over technical documents.
This new video shows the truth, Larian’s Creative Director Swen Vincke infiltrating Steam HQ and fighting his way through using the Portal gun. It’s incredibly cheesy but kinda cute.
“Though we all know Valve houses a magic dampening field, Vincke makes use of Valve’s advanced science to circumvent its extremely real security systems,” say Larian. “Fans of Valve will recognize this mythological technology, and the company behind its creation. Will Larian be able to harness the trademarks and intellectual property of a separately registered company in order to placate its groaning developers? Watch the video to find out.”
Divinity: Original Sin 2 is out now on all formats, including Switch. You can read our review here, it’s rather good and scored 9/10!
