If you would have told us a few weeks ago that we’d be having a mini E3 on September 24th, we’d call you a liar. However, here we are on an otherwise unspectacular autumn evening, sandwiched between a PlayStation and Xbox showcase double bill.
Microsoft’s Inside Xbox stream will be going live tonight, a couple of hours after we wrap up Sony’s latest State of Play broadcast where the publisher will be showing off The Last of Us Part II and some other unannounced titles. Here’s when and where you can tune into the Xbox showcase with some speculation as to what might make an appearance.
Inside Xbox will kick off at 11PM BST (UK time) which is midnight for those in central Europe, or 3PM PT, and 6PM ET.
Microsoft is promising a meaty presentation for Xbox fans to sink into. It will last for roughly an hour which means it could be three times the length of Sony’s compact State of Play stream.
There are several ways you can tune in to catch the stream including Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Twitch, and of course, Mixer.
Microsoft has already revealed a number of games in its lineup for the Inside Xbox stream. These include Obsidian’s upcoming shooter RPG hybrid, The Outer Worlds, with Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint being another one of the key titles showing up. Hollywood hard man Jon Bernthal will be appearing at some point (apparently he’s in the game or something).
Atlas, DayZ, Hitman 2, Afterparty, Code Vein, Felix the Reaper, and Children of Morta will all be there too. Microsoft will also be sharing more about its xCloud streaming service while also unveiling new titles being added to Xbox Game Pass.
As we slowly march towards 2020, everyone is keen to hear more about Project Scarlett and what Microsoft has planned for its next generation console. The company may share some new details though it will be saving its main salvo for a big reveal event in the coming future.
