Sleepy Spider Studio has revealed Project AETHER, a bullet hell shooter in which players pilot a mecha in space. The studio describes the game as a “love letter to retro twin-stick bullet hell games”, and you can kind of see why in the trailer below which shows some Project AETHER gameplay. The game will feature nine levels in which an intergalactic threat as emerged that needs to be taken down. Your mecha can be equipped with two ranged weapons and a sabre. A demo of Project AETHER will be available from today on Steam.

Project AETHER will be available on 24th on Steam and will be priced at $12.99 / £10.29 / €10.79, though there will be a launch discount.
