Death Stranding’s PC release date has been confirmed for June

Back in November, it was confirmed that Death Stranding would be heading to PC during the summer of 2020. Well. summer is only a few months away and now 505 Games has confirmed that it will be releasing Kojima Productions’ critically acclaimed title on June 2nd via Steam and the Epic Games store. Furthermore, there will be a bit of content from Half-Life chucked into Death Stranding with the seemingly being a headcrab hat form Sam to rock as he ventures around the world.

That headcrab is not the only content that will be available for the PC version of Death Stranding as players will receive HD wallpapers, The Art of Death Stranding digital artbook, the expanded edition of the soundtrack which will have formerly unreleased tracks on it, Chiral Gold and Omnireflector coloured Bridges Cap and Ludens Mask sunglasses, a Gold and Silver Armour Plate and Gold and Silver Power, Speed and All-Terrain Skeletons. Death Stranding is available to pre-order for £54.99 off of those digital retailers, but there is also a physical release that comes with all of the above plus a steelbook case and that version is priced at £64.99.

In our review for Death Stranding Tuffcub wrote:

Death Stranding is like nothing I have ever played; beautiful, heart racing, heart breaking, frustrating, epic, stunning, and utterly nuts. I laughed, I cried, I cursed, and I went to the toilet an awful lot. Death Stranding isn’t just my Game of the Year, it’s a contender for Game of the Generation too.

You can read the full Death Stranding review here. PS4 players, update 1.11 came out for Death Stranding the other day and it lets you skip cutscenes. Well, some of them anyway. Oh, and only if you are on your second playthrough. Did you really think Kojima would let you miss the story the first time?
