Just Cause 4 is obviously this week’s big ticket game. It launched at the end of 2018 with an ambitious goal of taking the series’ trademark over the top action to new heights. The open world gameplay could now be affected by huge weather events as Rico sought to resolve his family legacy.

We praised the game in our Just Cause 4 review. Dom said:

Just Cause 4 is the best entry in the series to date, offering spectacular free-wheeling destruction on a scale that’s not been attempted before. Rico remains one of gaming’s most enjoyable protagonists, but more than ever before, it’s really all about what he’s capable of doing rather than the events unfolding around him.

However, the game drew criticism for taking a step back in terms of graphics, as Avalanche grappled with current gen consoles. To their credit, the studio worked to resolve those complaints, implementing a new lighting system into the game as they worked through the season pass of content. Of course, with the raw horsepower of gaming PCs, you should be able to secure better visuals and better performance than on console.

Wheels of Aurelia is actually a game I’m not familiar with, but it has the intriguing premise letting conversations play out while cruising up the coast of Italy during the 1970s. Its been nominated for several awards, including the the Nuovo Award and the IGF 2017 and IndieCade Festival in 2016.

As well as PC, it’s otherwise available for PS4, Xbox One and Switch.

The blurb reads:

Embark on an immersive road trip through the gritty western coast of Italy during the roaring 1970’s. Playing as Lella, a bold, spunky woman, experience the sights and sounds of a tumultuous time in Italy’s history while uncovering events from Lella’s past.
