Arena brawler Cubers: Arena announced by Teyon

Polish publisher Teyon has revealed a new arena brawler called Cubers: Arena, and it is a game that has been developed by Tomasz Dziobek. In Cubers: Arena players are put in the position of being a slave within Cuber society but you have the chance to earn freedom through fighting a wave of gladiators. It is very Ancient Rome inspired when it comes to the setting but that’s pretty much where similarities end. That’s down to the fact that players are basically armed spheres called Baller, while enemies are cubes.

Your character will be able to wield more than 100 different weapons and don some attire which may have its own benefits. Each of these items can be upgraded through earning gems in the game, and these are earned through defeating enemies. You do not have to play alone as there is a co-op mode but you have to be careful as friendly fire (hitting?) is on so you could hurt your partner as well as help them. On the plus side enemies will hurt each other too if they’re not careful. Cubers: Arena will have mini-games outside of its campaign which includes Time attack, Defender, Sparring, Dodgeball. There will be four arenas to battle in and they will feature destructible environments.

Cubers: Arena will be available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch though a date is yet to be confirmed.
