Metalhead confirms Super Mega Baseball 3 will be released in May

Metalhead has announced that it will be releasing Super Mega Baseball 3 on May 13th for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. The developer also confirmed that the game will have cross-play support from launch, and a demo will be available that will allow players to experience the online Pennant Race mode which will be unlimited so you can play with those who purchase the game. Originally, Metalhead announced that Super Mega Baseball 3 would be released in April but there has been a small delay which I think is understandable.

Post-launch there will be free feature updates that will add things like a team import option so players can bring in their teams from Super Mega Baseball 2, as well as a yet to be revealed new online feature. Other improvements, which will be available from launch, will include a better to navigate user interface, new audio, new team and character content, and environments that have a variable lighting system. If you’ve not played the Super Mega Baseball games before they’re worth a hit as the game is quite arcadey compared to other baseball titles, and quite easy to get into.
