Ys: Memories of Celceta will be released in June for PS4, confirms Marvelous Games

Marvelous Games has confirmed that the remaster of Ys: Memories of Celceta will be released on June 9th in North America, and June 19th in Europe and Australia for PS4. Ys: Memories of Celceta released back in 2012 for the PS Vita and then made its way to PC in 2018. The remastered edition of the action RPG supports 60 FPS, HD graphics, and re-optimised controls that maintain the feel of the touchscreen functions that are found in the Vita version of the game. This release will also have dual audio options so players can choose to listen to the characters speak English, or Japanese with English subtitles.

Ys: Memories of Celceta will be released physically in a standard edition for the price of  £24.99 / €29.99. There will be two digital versions as well. The first is the digital standard edition which will be the same prices as the physical version, and the second is the digital deluxe version which will feature:

  • Ys: Memories of Celceta PlayStation 4 Game
  • Ys Musical Selections: Past and Present Digital Soundtrack App
  • Ys: Memories of Celceta PlayStation 4 Theme

That version will be priced at £34.99 / €39.99. In our original review for Ys: Memories of Celceta I wrote:

“If you’re a fan of action RPGs then Ys: Memories Of Celceta is something you should definitely pick up. The different characters and how their individual stories all come together really craft a great narrative. In a couple of places, there are points which seem to have been added just for the sake of it, but overall it’s a very enjoyable journey. The game is fair to you and can have its time taken with, allowing appreciation of the world that has been created.”
