Halo 2: Anniversary will be available next week on Steam and Xbox Game Pass for PC

Microsoft has confirmed the arrival date for Halo 2: Anniversary on PC with the publisher announcing on Twitter that the game will be available on May 12th. The release of the game will be done through Steam, the Microsoft Store, and Xbox Game Pass for PC. It will also be part of the Halo: Master Chief Collection if you own that, or want to get the whole collection instead of the game by itself. The release of Halo 2: Anniversary follows on two months from the release of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary on the same platforms.

Halo 2: Anniversary will contain both the single player campaign as well as the multiplayer modes, with the visuals going up to 4K and 60fps. Players will have the choice to play with the updated graphics or the originals depending on preference. There is also mouse and keyboard support as well as customisation options like an FOV slider.
