Goosebumps Dead of Night is a first person horror title coming to PC and consoles this summer

Cosmic Forces is partnering up with Scholastic and Sony Pictures to release a new Goosebumps game called Goosebumps Dead of Night, and it will be a first person survival horror title. It has been confirmed for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch with a release expected this summer, though an exact date is yet to be given.

In the game Slappy the ventriloquist doll has managed to escape from the confines of the Goosebumps books and has managed to bring along other monsters including the Graveyard Ghoul, Lawn Gnomes, Annihilator 3000, Murder the Clown, and the Werewolf of Fever Swamp. Players cannot fight these creatures and will have to try and sneak past them, and solve puzzles to banish them back to the realm of Goosebumps. There will be a number of different locations that are taken from classic Goosebumps stories. Goosebumps Dead of Night builds on from the mobile VR title Goosebumps Night of Scares with enhanced visuals, new chapters added and more monsters. The Switch version will support touchscreen and gyro controls.
