For Honor Year 4 Season 2 is called Tyranny, begins June 11th

Ubisoft has announced the next season for For Honor with Year 4 Season 2 being called the Season of Tyranny, taking over from the Season of Hope. One of the first things that will be coming in the Season of Tyranny will be the return of the Metal Trials with test your metal coming with a crowd of spectators. Players will be able to team up in groups of four to take on the likes of Tozen, Gudmundr, and Apollyon. It won’t be easy as bosses will get bonuses should players win a best of seven round.

Here’s the description from the trailer:

As celebrations of the Honor Games continued, a sinister threat was brewing. A group of mysterious warriors geared up and gathered secret allies from all factions. Peace was soon to be a distant dream.

The Centurion returns with a rework and an upgraded move set as well. There is no real detail about the new hero that will arrive during the season except that they will be available from August 6th, and along with the new hero there will be a core combat update that will disrupt the defensive meta so players will have to get ready to change up tactics. Details of how that will change will be released closer to the time. A couple of new emotes are also being added and they are ‘One of your shrugs’ and ‘Dubious Assessment’, and they will be available for all the heroes. All of this comes as part of the battle pass system where players will get some free content but the premium battle pass will unlock all the content from the season.

Year 4 Season 2: The Season of Tyranny will go live on June 11th in For Honor. Once we know more about the new hero we will bring you all of the details.
