The PC specs for Death Stranding have been revealed

Hideo Kojima’s post-apocalyptic postal epic is coming to PC in just a few short weeks, but what kind of gaming hardware will you need to throw at Death Stranding come its 14th July release date? Well, we now know, with three tiers of requirements details.

While they tell us the absolute barebones minimum to run the game at just 720p and 30fps, the most interesting  one is what’s recommended for 1080p60. There you need a Core i7-3770 from way back in 2012, paired with a decidedly midrange Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 590.

However, what they don’t say is what will be required for higher resolutions than that. What will it take to run the game at 1440p or full 4K? What sacrifices to the gods of GPUs will you need to make to hit 60fps at 4K? I guess we’ll have to wait to find out.

Death Stranding is like nothing I have ever played; beautiful, heart racing, heart breaking, frustrating, epic, stunning, and utterly nuts. I laughed, I cried, I cursed, and I went to the toilet an awful lot. Death Stranding isn’t just my Game of the Year, it’s a contender for Game of the Generation too.

Are you going to pick it up on PC?
