Doki Doki Literature Club Plus coming later this month to PC and consoles

Team Salvato has confirmed that the existence of Doki Doki Literature Club Plus, and has also stated that the game will be available June 30th for PC, Switch, Xbox consoles, and PlayStation consoles. This is not a sequel to the psychological horror title but instead an extended edition that will add some more content. This content will include six new side stories, 13 new music tracks, over 100 new unlockable images, and improved HD visuals.

The six new side stories take place outside of the main timeline of Doki Doki Literature Club, exploring the relationships between the main characters from first meeting to how they became close. The main theme of these side stories is to watch the characters grow emotionally and see how the bonds formed while tackling different issues. Each side story will focus on a different pair of characters so all the relationships are explored. The 13 new tracks are for the 6 side stories and have been composed by Nikki Kaelar. Doki Doki Literature Club Plus will have a built in music player so you can listen to the tracks whenever you like.

Now that Dan Salvato and Team Salvato are about to release Doki Doki Literature Club Plus, attention will turn to what comes next. Earlier this year Dan Salvato confirmed that he would be returning to work on a different visual novel that had been put on hold for the last couple of years.
