Nacon and Big Bad Wolf Studio have shown off a new and moody trailer for their upcoming World of Darkness game Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong. The game is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X, PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC in February 2022, having been pushed back from its originally planned 2021 release.
Announced at PDXCON in 2019 and then returning at the first Nacon Connect in 2020, the game is set in Boston with the vampire clan the Camarilla attacked in an attempt to upset the balance of the world. The game will lean more heavily into the tabletop role playing game for its gameplay, with in depth character stat sheets that you customise from the ground up. The game will give you three characters to play as, each from different vampire clans looking to investigate the attack.
The above trailer features Galeb, one of the oldest vampires in town. Here’s what Nacon has to say about him:
Power, wealth, immortality, at one point or another, Galeb has had it all. He’s traveled the world, amassed a fortune, and established himself as one of the oldest and most feared Vampires in the city of Boston. And yet, he’s left wanting, grasping for something he’s lost. Or perhaps something that was never there to begin with.
