Later today, Sony will be hosting a State of Play broadcast. The live show will give us a closer look at a number of upcoming PS5 and PS4 games.
PlayStation fans won’t want to miss tonight’s video game reveals and deep dives. However, Sony have said that major upcoming exclusives including God of War Ragnarok and Horizon: Forbidden West will not make an appearance during the livestream.
So, when is tonight’s State of Play and where can you watch it? The event will start at 2PM PT / 5PM ET / 10PM BST / 11 CEST and is expected to run for 30 minutes in total. You can watch it live via the official PlayStation Twitch or YouTube channels. Don’t worry if you miss it – you’ll be able to catch up later by watching an archived version.
A new State of Play arrives this Thursday at 10pm BST.

Headlining today’s State of Play is Deathloop, the next big game from Dishonored and Prey developer, Arkane. There will be a 9 minute demo of the PlayStation 5 timed exclusive, showing off how protagonist Cole uses his abilities to sneak through Blackreef or go in all guns blazing. In addition to this, they will have updates on some indie and third-party titles.
Deathloop is currently set for release on 14th September for PlayStation 5 and PC – this after a lengthy delay from the previously announced 20th May release date.
The game boils down to a more murderous Groundhog Day, as Cole wakes up on the shore of Blackreef at the start of the day, goes about your business of trying to assassinate all of the Visionaries and then, whether he survives all the way to the end of the day or not, starts all over again. The one way out of this? Well, to murder all eight of the targets and break the loop.
We can’t wait to see the game in action. Hopefully there will be plenty of other titles for PlayStation fans to add to their pre-order lists, too.
