Nickelodeon All Star Brawl’s first free DLC character is Garfield

Nickelodeon All Star 500

Nickelodeon All Star Brawl is getting a brand new character added for free, and that character is Garfield. It has been confirmed that Garfield will be added to the roster on December 9th for PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. However, Switch owners will have to wait a bit longer though Garfield is expected to join the roster for Nickelodeon All Star Brawl at some point this month. A reason for the difference in release dates has not been given.

The key features for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl includes:

  • All-Star Cast: Fan-favorite characters from the Nickelodeon cartoon universe are here and each fighter delivers a unique move-set and playstyle to master as you try to send your foes flying off the level to win.
  • 20 Nickelodeon-Themed Levels: Battle across a variety of stages inspired by iconic Nickelodeon universes, including Jellyfish Fields from SpongeBob SquarePants, TMNT’s Technodrome, and more!
  • Single-player & Multiplayer Game Modes: Challenge your skills against the AI, or face off in competitive online and local multiplayer for up to four players.
  • Bonus Content: Unlock advanced moves unique to each character’s personality and more in the in-game Gallery!

Other characters that are already part of the roster includeMichelangelo & Leonardo from TMNT, Lincoln Loud, Powdered Toast Man, Sandy Cheeks, Patrick Star, Oblina, Nigel Thornberry, Lucy, Spongebob Squarepants, Helga, Reptar, Zim, and Danny Phantom. While we did not review Nickelodeon All Star Battle Royale we did review Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix. In our review, I wrote:

“Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix is a decent kart racing game. The tracks are well made and take proper inspiration from Nickelodeon’s retinue of shows, the Crew system adds a tactical element, and the challenges are decent, but it’s just missing a little sparkle and a certain charm. Still, it’s a thoroughly competent kart racer that leaves its predecessor in the dirt.”
