Quirky ‘golf-like’ adventure Cursed to Golf will be coming out for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch & PC this summer, Chuhai Labs and Thunderful have announced, but you don’t have to wait until then to check it out. No, there’s also a limited time demo that’s available right now and through the weekend via Steam.
In Cursed To Golf players take on the role of a champion golfer who’s struck by lighting and becomes trapped in Golf Purgatory. To get out of this almost-hell, you have to play through 18 dungeon style holes while facing and overcoming a variety of obstacles. Go over the PAR score for the dungeon and you’ll be sent all the way back to the beginning to try and try again. Thankfully you’ve got some Ace Cards up your sleeves, modifying the golf ball to have different properties, like being able to modify its path in-flight, freeze water, split in three and more. All this can be seen in the new gameplay trailer. Oh, and there’s that demo thing as well.
Cursed to Golf’s limited time demo is available now on Steam, and playable until 7PM UK time on Sunday 27th March. It will give you a bit of a feeling for how the golf-like gameplay loop works, leading up to The Scotsman boss battle at the end, as the first real test of your golfing skills in Golf Purgatory.
