Techland has delayed the release of the first big Dying Light 2 DLC, pushing the Bloody Ties expansion back from an October launch to 10th November. This delay will “allow the team extra time to polish and squash bugs,” they explain on Twitter.
We have taken the decision to postpone the launch of Bloody Ties until November 10th, to allow the team extra time to polish and squash bugs.

In this Dying Light 2 DLC, you will test your prowess against fellow survivors in Carnage Hall, a former opera house that has since been converted into a gladiatorial arena. Bloody Ties promises a hot new chapter in the Dying Light saga as you enter this neon-lit lion pit, battling fierce challengers in a series of gruelling gauntlets.
Besides new quests and challenges, we can also expect “surprising” new weapon types alongside a cast of extravagant new characters to interact with. Pricing for the DLC has yet to be confirmed though those who pre-order can bag themselves some exclusive bonus content in the form of the Aristocrat Pack.
Dying Light 2 is out now on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. In our Dying Light 2 review, we scored the game a 7/10 saying:
Dying Light 2 expands and refines a formula Techland has been peddling since its breakout success with Dead Island. This sequel learns a lot from modern open world video games, its massive, zombie-infested sandbox rarely feeling empty, especially as you breeze through city blocks with a Mirror’s Edge-like finesse. However, Dying Light 2 inherits the same problems – a dull story, tiresome combat, and character progression that’s a tad too sluggish.
