With God of War Ragnarok just a couple weeks away from release on PS5 and PS4 on 9th November, Santa Monica Studio has kicked off a ‘Behind the Scenes’ video series that starts off with a dive into the game’s approach to storytelling.
The video series will start off spoiler-free for the new game, but does cover some ground from the last game in the long-running series. The first episode begins in Midgard, discussing some of the narrative beats that will return from the last game, and the overarching approach that the team took in continuing and concluding the Norse saga.
There will be a new video every Tuesday for the next nine week, until well after launch, so we can expect that later episodes will start to discuss some of the core plot points that have been kept secret. That won’t be next week, though. The second episode will drop on 25th October and head over tho Alfheim, the land of the Elves, and look at the refined combat and some of the fierce enemies that you’ll be battling.
While you might be waiting to get your mitts on God of War Ragnarok, we aren’t!
