Trinity Fusion, a sci-fi action RPG roguelite by Angry Mob Games, has been confirmed to be heading to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S in 2023. Alongside the news of this announcement, the studio confirmed a Trinity Fusion limited time demo, which will be available on Xbox consoles from today until December 12th. You can download the demo from the Microsoft Store here.
The game is set in a multiverse where barriers are coming down and realities are being destroyed. You play as three different alternates of the same person, each with their own skills. There is Altaara the Gadgeteer, Kera the Warrior, and Naira the Ranger. Altaara uses tech to fight enemies, Kera is armed with a sword, and Naira has a number of ranged weapons in her arsenal. There are convergent points where all three become one called Maya, meaning all of their skills are usable at the same time. Features include:
- A Journey Through the Multiverse – Fight through a combination of procedurally-generated levels and hand-crafted stages and arenas that will put your skills to the test. The 3D graphics and dark sci-fi aesthetic combine to create an engrossing world of hostile opponents and decayed futurescapes.
- High-Intensity Combat – Utilize sophisticated weapon designs and attack systems that leverage Angry Mob Games’ previous experience in the fighting-game genre. You’ll slide, dash and dodge between enemy attacks and strike back with an arsenal of satisfying special weapons and abilities.Â
- Three Heroines, Three Universes – Each of Maya’s parallel selves has her own world with multiple biomes to explore. Travel through a universe of desolate wastes and caverns roamed by mutant creatures, escape the endless forges and laboratories of a world ruled by machines, and survive the dangerous sky cities of a post-human society.
- Continuous Progression – Unlock permanent upgrades in The Citadel and discover new starting points for your run as you reclaim major locations in each universe. Finding yourself getting stuck in one area? Start your next run in a different reality!
Trinity Fusion does look fast paced and according to the store listing it will support 60fps and 4K visuals.
