The Street Fighter 6 release date has reportedly leaked as 2nd June 2023, with PlayStation Store listings being spotted and snapped by users on social media. Given the timing of this mishap, it’s quite likely that we’ll have a fresh trailer and release date announcement made during The Game Awards tonight.
Update: The release date has (unsurprisingly) now been confirmed!

The news popping up on ResetEra, it was first spotted and captured by Twitter user @SurpriseBurn.

The PlayStation Store listing also revealed details of the Deluxe and Ultimate versions of the game, as well as pre-order bonuses. The game will be available as a PS5 & PS4 cross-gen release on PlayStation.
Standard Edition
- Street Fighter 6 (PS4 & PS5)
- Outfit 1 Color 10 for 6 characters
- Special Titles and Stickers
Deluxe Edition
- Street Fighter 6 (PS4 & PS5)
- Outfit 1 Color 10 for 6 characters
- Special Titles and Stickers
- Year 1 Character Pass
Ultimate Edition
- Street Fighter 6 (PS4 & PS5)
- Outfit 1 Color 10 for 6 characters
- Special Titles and Stickers
- Year 1 Ultimate Pass
What the Character Pass and Ultimate Pass include, we’ll just have to wait and see, but I’d put money on one having new characters and the other having those same characters and a bunch of additional cosmetics alongside.
After the success of the first beta, Capcom has chosen to follow that up with a second closed beta test later this month. Closed beta test 2 will run from 16th-18th December across PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, and is available to all participants of the first beta, as well as opening up to new applicants.

In our most recent Street Fighter 6 preview, Nick P wrote, “Without having to worry about building up a meter to do cool things, new players can properly learn the fundamentals of fighting games, meaning hopefully they’ll give it a go and stick around. For veterans, the Drive System is going to help showcase some real creativeness, and will foster deeper experimentation to make the most of it. The professional scene is going to be a marvel to behold in the coming years! We haven’t even scratched the surface yet of what Street Fighter 6 has to offer, but I can tell you now, it’s going to be an all timer.”
