Avatar Generations pre-registration is now up, RPG launches later this year

Avatar Generations, the free to play mobile RPG based on Avatar: The Last Airbender, is now in pre-registration stage. Apple product owners can register on the official Avatar Generations website to be notified when the game will be available, while Android owners can be notified through the Play Store.  A new gameplay trailer has also been released for Avatar Generations.

Avatar Generations follows the plot of The Last Airbender, with players able to customise the squad they used to take part in turn based battles. The main story points will be playable but the game will add some new content that will expand the story and lore of the Four Nations. As players make their way through the game they will collect characters that can join them in fights, including the core Team Avatar of Korra, Sokka, Toph, and Zuko. The Cabbage Merchant is also recruit able. All characters will have their own skills too.

Avatar Generation will not stop with the story of Aang and co. There will be regular updates adding the stories of other Avatars including Korra. It is not known whether the game will eventually add content from the next Avatar series. The game is being developed by Navigator Games who have previously worked on Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast. When the game was announced Will Moore, CEO of Navigator Games, said, “It is a huge privilege to partner with Square Enix on the creation of a game with such an iconic IP like ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender. The ATLA universe has so many layers and complex storylines to explore and we look forward to fully unveiling it and sharing it with all the incredibly passionate and loyal Avatar fans”
