WWE 2K23 has been confirmed as releasing in March this year, with two dates to keep an eye on. The first is the Early Access date of March 14th for those who purchase the Deluxe or Icon editions of 2023, while those who opt for the Standard or Cross Gen edition will have to wait until March 17th. 2K also confirmed that John Cena will be the cover star for WWE 2K23. One of the new feature matches will be WarGames allowing for 3v3 or 4v4 matches in two side by side rings, surrounded by a double steel cage.
“It is a pleasure to tell the story of my career through the WWE 2K23 Showcase,” said John Cena. “2K has done a fantastic job capturing and invigorating the WWE 2K franchise through this concept, and I am honored to grace the cover of WWE 2K23.”

The Deluxe Edition of WWK 2K23 has been priced at £89.99 which will include the base game, the Bad Bunny bonus pack, access to all five of the post launch DLC packs and the MyRISE Mega-Boost and SuperCharger; Ruby John Cena MyFACTION Evo Card, Gold Edge MyFACTION Card, Emerald Bianca Belair MyFACTION Card, Gold Asuka MyFACTION Card, and three Basic Premium Launch MyFACTION Card Packs.
WWE 2K23 Icon Edition will include all of the above as well as the Ruthless Aggression Pack, featuring John Cena’s early “Prototype” character, as well as “Leviathan” Batista, developmental rookie versions of Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton, the John Cena Legacy Championship and WrestleMania 22 Arena.
The standard edition of WWE 2K23 will cost £49.99 on PC, £59.99 on PS4, Xbox One, and £69.99 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Cross Gen version will be priced at £69.99. The Icon version will be priced at £104.99.
