Warner Bros. have announced a Mortal Kombat 1 stress test for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Although this will allow you to play the game before release they are pains to point out this is not a beta test, that will which will be available in August 2023 and you can get in to that by pre-ordering the game.

What is the Mortal Kombat 1 Online Stress Test?
The intention of this test is to stress our online services in preparation for the September 19 launch of Mortal Kombat 1.
Is the Online Stress Test a Beta?
No, the test is not a Beta, it is a true stress test. The purpose is to deliberately stress our online infrastructure and identify potential issues ahead of the game’s launch. The test is also unrelated to the Mortal Kombat 1 Pre-Order Beta that has been announced for August 2023.

Is a Warner Bros. Games Account required to participate in the Online Stress Test?
