Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age will be added to Nintendo Switch Online’s library of Game Boy Advance games next week – available for Expansion Pack members from 17th January.
Widely regarded as two of the best RPGs on the Game Boy Advance, Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age are fine additions to the Nintendo Switch Online library.
Set on the world of Weyard, the peace of the land is disrupted as a bunch of meddling mages steal the Elemental Stars and start relighting beacons around the land to try and usher in a new era of alchemical magic. Thankfully, while this starts to wreak havoc and devastation, a bunch of magically adept kids are able to set forth and defeat them.
With these two additions, the Game Boy Advance library on Switch Online will look like this:
- Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3
- WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$
- Kuru Kuru Kururin
- Mario Kart Super Circuit
- Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
- The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
- Metroid Fusion
- Super Mario Advance
- Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2
- Yoshi’s Island: Super Mario Advance 3
- Fire Emblem
- Kirby & The Amazing Mirror
- Golden Sun
- Golden Sun: The Lost Age
There’s just one more GBA game that we know is coming to Switch Online, F-Zero: Maximum Velocity, after which Nintendo will have to get a bit more creative in finding and licensing these handheld classics.
