Sonic Rumble has been revealed by SEGA, and going by the trailer it is inspired by Fall Guys. The game will allow up to 32 players to compete against each other in different challenges, some of which are shown in the footage. Sonic Rumble is going to be a mobile title only though, coming to both Android and Apple mobile devices.
A Sonic Rumble closed beta test will be taking place between May 24th and May 26th, but this limited to those in the United States only, and during specific times which are listed below.I
- 1st play session:May 24, 2024 (Fri) 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM (PDT)
- 2nd play session:May 25, 2024 (Sat) 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (PDT)
- 3rd play session:May 25, 2024 (Sat) 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM (PDT)
- 4th play session:May 26, 2024 (Sun) 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (PDT)
- 5th play session:May 26, 2024 (Sun) 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM (PDT)
SEGA also advises that those who want to play Sonic Rumble will need an iPhone 11 or later, or Android OS 8.0 or later, and a minimum of 4 GB RAM. The deadline to apply for the beta is May 19, 2024 (Sun) 11:59 PM (PDT). The way to apply for the beta is as follows:
Users of iOS-based devices
- Register an address that can receive HTML email.
- In addition to the Sonic Rumble app for the Closed Beta Test, you will also need to use the TestFlight application from Apple.
Users of Android-based devices
- Please register using the same Gmail address you use for Google Play.
The full release of Sonic Rumble is expected in the winter of this year.
