Age of Wonders 4’s second expansion pack has been released today by Paradox Interactive, with Herald of Glory being the first piece of DLC to release as part of it. Herald of Glory adds new items and society trait which adds as a regal way to take over the Astral Sea. There are three more DLC packs planned as part of this expansion pass for Age of Wonders 4.
The second piece of DLC in this expansion pass for Age of Wonders 4 is Ways of War. This content adds the Oathsworn culture in which you can swear three different oaths. The Oath of Righteousness is to focus on taking on and destroying evil, the Oath of Strife to wage war against the most powerful, and
the Oath of Harmony to lead a peaceful life. On top of that are intrigue events that will centre around assassinations and betrayals. Within Ways of War there are new forms called the Simians and Ogrekins, and there are four Tomes that focus on discipline, shade, calamity, and prosperity. This DLC will be out on November 5th.
Then in 2025 the other two DLCs will be released with these being Giant Kings and Archon Prophecy. Giants Kings will feature a new Giant ruler and add new items, including ancient traffic and crystal based magic from a fallen empire. Archon Prophecy will be the last pack as part of the expansion pass which will include a new culture, new prophecies, and new story. The expansion pass costs $49.99/£41.99/€49.99, but each DLC pack will be available separately too. Ways of War will cost $14.99/£12.79/€14.99, whole Giant Kings and Archon Prophecy will be priced individually at $19.99/£16.99/€19.99.
