Two Point Studios and Sega have announced Arty-Facts, the next DLC for Two Point Museum, will arrive on 7th May for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC – the Switch 2 release will come a little later. Let’s dive in to see what all this artsy-fartsy new content will be about.
There’s much more of an artistic focus here, letting you collect, commission and display art exhibitions and installations, which can include ‘Two Point Gothic’ (American Gothic now featuring Gubbins), ‘The Persistence of Dairy’ (Dali’s Persistence of Memory with pizzas replacing clocks) and ‘Box of Truffle Pigs’ (Andy Warhol’s Monroe work re-imagined with boars). It goes beyond that with interactive experiences, which range from Performance Arts to a Sketch Show, and flinging visitors into a paint-splattering notebook..
The Studio Room allows for the creation of Original Art, using multiple layers which you can customise by selecting a medium and an expert with the right traits. Experts will have to go on a quest of discovry through Zara Fitzpocket’s sketch book, which is a new Expedition Map.
Here’s the bullet point breakdown:
- A brand-new museum location: Undee Docks
- New expert type: Art Experts
- An unexplored expedition map through Zara’s Sketchbook
- 27+ Art Exhibits including Famous Works
- New Gift Shop items
- New themed Cafe items
- Five new Interactive Art displays
- New themed items and decorations
- New Art Studio room to create original art pieces
And if that’s already getting your creative juices flowing, a free DLC taster will arrive in the game on 30th April, where you can visit the Undee Docks location and play through to the first star rating of the level. It’s almost like a DLC demo?
