Looking For Fael launches in two weeks for PC and consoles

ARTE France and Swing Swing Submarine have revealed that its surreal first person puzzle adventure Looking For Fael is going to be available in just a couple of weeks, with the precise release date being July 16th. As part of the announcement, a new trailer for Looking For Fael has been released, showing some of the puzzles players will be interacting with.

Looking For Fael is described as a closed room maze puzzle. It takes place in an apartment in which your roommate, Fael, has gone missing. You are on a mission to find him and quickly realise that your apartment is not what it seems. There are rooms within rooms with different puzzles that Fael appears to have constructed along with messages left behind to either help or confuse you. While puzzles appear to be linked to separate rooms, what you do with them will have an impact on other puzzle rooms. The rooms range from your living room to a cinema, a room overgrown with plants, and lots more. Accompanying you is this journey is the Game Leaf, a retro console that can be used to solve the puzzles that you will encounter as you try to find Fael.

Looking For Fael will be available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series XS, and Switch. If you are interested in the game you can download the Looking For Fael demo from Steam.
