Worms is back! The iconic series will be making its return in 2027 with the launch of Worms: Galactic Tactics, which sees worms from different parts of the galaxy come together to kill each other for the emperor’s treasure. At Worms: Galactic Tactics is not the only game. Worms, will be a classic take on the series though details are scarce on that at the moment.
Worms: Galactic Tactics has players put together a squad of three worms to take on challengers, with each victory bringing new defensive and offensive mods. That does play into the roguelike nature of Worms: Galactic Tactics since different mods will let you experiment with weapons in different ways across runs. The roguelike element will also unlock permanent upgrades so your squad can get further through the challenges, and get to the emperor.
An exact release date is yet to be revealed, but Worms: Galactic Tactics will be launching in 2027 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series XS, and Switch 2.
