Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX Launching Next Year

Over at the official PlayStation Blog Square Enix has announced a follow up to its recent Kingdom Hearts HD makeover.

Similar to last month’s release, 2.5 ReMIX will be broken into three separate titles. The first, of course, is Kingdom Hearts II, the 2005 sequel in which players explore a breadth of new Disney worlds including that of Steamboat Willie, Pirates of the Caribbean, and The Lion King.

Next up is a hi-def version of 2010’s PSP prequel, Birth by Sleep. Again, there are a number of classic Disney icons that put in an appearance as well as an alternative, command-based combat system.

Lastly we have Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded, though not in playable form. As with 358/2 Days in the last ReMIX collection, Square has compiled all of the game’s cinematics before giving them an HD spruce-up.

Last month we reviewed Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMIX. You can catch it here.
