In addition to the bundles mentioned above, anyone picking up either day one console will be able to take advantage of numerous special promotions, including additional discounts on games, Blu-ray movies, and PS+ or Xbox Live subscriptions. Call Of Duty: Ghosts, for example, will be made available for £40 – meaning those utilising GAME’s previously advertised £40 trade-in offer will be able to ugrade their current generation version absolutely free of charge. Bargain.

It’s currently unclear as to the numbers of free-sale stock GAME stores will have available at launch, although both Microsoft and Sony are believed to be holding back some stock to ensure those who haven’t pre-ordered will still be able to pick up their console of choice. Assuming, of course they get to a till very shortly after Midnight.

Xbox One hits shelves next Friday, November 22nd, with Sony’s PlayStation 4 following a week later on November 29th.

  1. I got my PS3 in 2008 from GAME with 5 games (LBP, Resistance 2, Fallout 3, COD:WAW and LOST) all for £300. Doubt I’ll ever see a deal like that when I get my PS4…

    • That was to be fair nearly two years after launch. That was the best time to own a PS3 at that point. The PS4 has yet to come on the market yet but maybe next Christmas you may see a deal like that.

    • Wait, I bought my PS3 from GAME in 2008, but I paid £320 and only got 1 game?

    • I got my 40gb ps3 in 2008 from game for £300 odd a week before mgs4 came out and it only came with gta 4….
got my slim in 2010 from Argos for same price but with a 3 year warranty and gta episodes…

  2. No mention of Game’s £614.98 X1 bundle above, wonder if they’ve decided it’s a bit too expensive.

    • I don’t think anything’s too expensive for them, my local Game is trying to sell a used phone for £638!

      • Haven’t they sold my phone yet!

  3. Game always bundle crap with their deals, I don’t understand why anyone would want films with a bundle when you can get them online or in another store anyway.

  4. Picked my solus console + Killzone: Shadow Fall for £389.99 yesterday at my local GAME using their get gaming quicker service. Rather pleased at the price as I was worried about the fact that I missed out on the Killzone bundle, meaning I will have to pay more for the game and console. Turns out I’m paying less than the packed-in bundle. Result! :D

Can finally cancel my Amazon pre-order now, which is also guaranteed for launch…

    • I’m getting PS4, Shadow Fall, Camera and extra controller for £429 from Amazon, thats only £50 more than your console and Shadow Fall. Win!

      • same here, it’s great value.

      • I too have a preorder from Amazon and had the option to pick the mega bundle, however I didn’t want to. I don’t have the funds yet so don’t mind picking up the camera and/or extra controller after Christmas.

Also there’s the fact that I can’t rely on Amazon to deliver to me on time as they’re almost always late whenever I use them, I must have bad luck. :(

I’m going to GAME and picking up my console at midnight. :)

  5. There are far more bundle than the few mentioned above in GAME after going today to finalise things.

My bundle is now: PS4, Extra controller, Camera, Killzone, Knack, FIFA 14, AC4, LEGO Marvel all for £604.97. Saving a whopping £115.95 off retail value. Cant flippin wait!

    • Only £18 cheaper than amazon and that is if prices don’t change before release… I have only bought 2 games Killzone in the mega bundle and Watch Dogs DEDSEC for £56. I can’t justify spending nearly £50 a game and will be waiting until games start to reduce in price. I’m sure I will be kept amused by KZ:SF and any more free PS+ titles that I get.

      • Only £18 cheaper but think of the reward points…THINK OF THE REWARD POINTS!!!

  6. HOLD UP.

“One additional game from a choice of: Killzone: Shadow Fall, Knack, Battlefield 4, Need For Speed: Rivals, Madden NFL 25, FIFA 14, NBA 2K14 or Putty Squad”

Putty Squad is a full price PS4 game?!??!?!?

    • Seems to be priced randomly between 22 and 30 quid from various online retailers … I thought it was a PSN game. o_O

      • £6.99 tops in my book and I was a great fan of the game on Amiga..

  7. Killzone bundle from amazon £379.99. Check
12 days off work starting the 26th. Check
    Payday the 25th. Check
Now all I have to do is wait

  8. Some nice bundles here. Went into my local GAME today where they upgraded my Standard X1 to a DayOne with Forza and confirmed I will get it launch day! :) Opted for the Value Pack so I essentially got Dead Rising 3 for 40quid. Can’t grumble at that and am pumped for the 22nd!!

  9. Those are interesting, wish they’d offered a bit better choice online as that’s how I’ve ordered mine. The discounted games would be great, would love to pick up Knack etc for £40 on launch day.

  10. Only thing that lets down all the xbone bundles is that they’ve included the console……..
