Battlefield Hardline’s Multiplayer Classes Detailed

Battlefield: Hardline is out in a matter of weeks, following on from two betas. If you’ve had a chance to play in either of those then you will be familiar with the equipment of some classes, or all of them if you decided to give each one a go. If not then details have been released on what each class is for, as well as some of the unique equipment is wielded.

  • Operator – Medic whose main job is to revive and heal team mates. Primary weapon is the assault rifle. Class gadget is Survivalist, which allows self revive following explosion or road kill. Other team members can take health pack from Operator by going close and interacting. No need to rely on drops.
  • Mechanic – Repairman whose main role is to keep vehicles running. Has sabotage gadget that explodes should opponent try to interact with item it is placed on. Is equipped with a grenade launcher.
  • Enforcer – Main assault class that are equipped with Battle Rifles. Can also use shotguns to clear in close combat, or riot shield to soak up damage. Can drop ammo to resupply other team members.
  • Professional – This is the sniper class. Equipment includes camera that can spot enemies, and decoys which shows false signals on enemy minimap. Laser tripmines can also be used to stop opponents from sneaking up behind you. Gadget is Stealth, allowing the Professional class to move without being detected.

  1. I’m glad they’ve included the feature to receive medi packs ammo etc from a player without them having to drop it. Countless times I have ran around chasing team mates on battlefield 4 asking for ammo and them being the tards they are ignoring my request.

    • Probably not realising you are in need – A lot of people tend to just run to where they want to go regardless of class & the orders you can give aren’t the clearest in the world to those receiving.

I would personally like to see something highlight someone on the map (or in game, but that might make the screen a bit too ‘busy’) to you that is requesting assistance of some kind. A simple couple of pulses of their character or something on the map should be enough.

      • It does actually highlight on the map when someone requests health, ammo etc. If you are the correct class a flashing icon will indicate they need health if your a medic or ammo if your support. Either people don’t notice it or they just ignore it. I tend to keep an eye out as its bonus points for me.

      • Can’t say I’ve noticed that & I have been playing it for a while now.

Which probably just reverts back to the guess that people just don’t notice.
