Here are some lovely pictures from Rise of the Tomb Raider in which you can see the difference between the Xbox One graphics at the top, and the Xbox 360 version below.
The Xbox One version looks better, well that’s a surprise. Stay tuned as next week Square Enix will reveal the Sun is “a bit hot.”

Not paticularly going to make 360 owners buy a One as the 360 version holds up well, but you can see the generational leap in the details. It would be interesting to compare them in motion.

The first 2 show the difference better, more greenery and details. Lara’s bum looks more peachy on the xboxone version. Overall though it shows how well the 360 holds up for a nearly 10 year old console.
Amphlett
Personally I think that rather than ‘peachy’, that her bum looks dirtier.
Starman
She hasn’t learnt the “managing without toilet tissue” part of survival yet.

Considering the limitations of the xbox 360 and ps3 i’m still impressed with what they can get out of those old machines. Makes me realise that developers just don’t push and tweak the new machines enough to get even more performance out of them.

Tomb Raider was a stunning game on PS3 and really eked out every last drop of graphical power from the last gen. The Definitive Edition on PS4 looked better, but not by all that much compared to other remasters, mainly through how good the game looked the first time around.
Looks like the sequel is doing the same.

Looks great.
Wish this was coming out on the PS4 at the same time though. I’m really looking forward to playing the game but then I think ‘Ugh! I’ll have to use the XB1 pad’. DS4 is so good it feels unatural using anything else. Even DS3.
