Battlefield 1 is doing quite well in terms of sales and EA have celebrated the success of the game by listing just how many horses you have killed. They also show how many times the weather changes in the game, but oddly for a FPS shooter, they don’t mention how many human kills have been racked up. Perhaps their social media team did not make this infographic.

In related news, EA have confirmed that DICE GM Patrick Bach has left the studio. “Patrick Bach has been a great colleague to many across DICE and EA for almost 15 years,” said Patrick Söderlund, EVP, EA Worldwide Studios. “We thank him for all of his contributions, especially to our Battlefield franchise and community, and wish him all the best on his next adventure.”

They count the horses but not the people? I think there are 2 possible explanations for that.
1. Claiming that players killed X million people in a game based on a real war at this time of year would inevitably get some publicity they might want to avoid. Or they might want to avoid having to delete it and lightly apologise later.
2. They’re just trolling everyone’s favourite animal rights terrorists, Peta.
I hope it’s number 2.

i’d love to see the similar stat for Read Dead Redemption’s online mode.
play on a no pvp mode and the team killing idiots can’t kill you, but they can kill your horse, and so they do.
again and again and again and so on.
