Free Weekends Galore! Play For Honor & LawBreakers This Weekend, Overwatch Next Weekend

Living somewhere between a game demo and unfettered access to a game, free weekends have become the practice du jour for video game developers over the last year or two, giving those curious about their games a brief window to try before they (hopefully) buy. It’s the middle of November and the Christmas buying season is picking up, so it’s no surprise that everyone’s clamouring for your attention.

Right now you can download and dive into For Honor and LawBreakers, and if you’ve still not tried Overwatch, it has a trial next weekend.

For Honor’s free weekend started yesterday on 9th November and will carry on until 8AM GMT on the 13th, across PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. It’s trying to drum up interest ahead of the game’s fourth season of content, Order & Havoc,  which is a free addition to the coming on the 14th. It’s allied with a 60% discount until the 20th November.

LawBreakers’ free weekend is also already running, and will keep going until 9PM on Sunday on PC and PlayStation 4. Again, there’s been a recent free update to the game, the All-Star Update and Patch 2.0 update, and there’s a 50% discount on the game dropping it to $14.99 on both Steam and PlayStation 4 until Tuesday – the discount doesn’t seem to be on the EU PS Store.

Finally, we come to Overwatch, with Blizzard just coming out of all their announcements from Blizzcon, which included a new Overwatch character, and the World Cup. Between 17th-20th November, you’ll get to dive into the game just like you owned it on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. There is typically discounted pricing alongside these free weekends, but there’s no details on that just yet for Overwatch.
