News Snatch: Rocket League, Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet, And Senran Kagura

Well I’m bushed I don’t know about you, it’s been a hectic week so what better way to relax than to grab a brandy, find a comfy chair, and cuddle up with News Snatch. That would be lovely wouldn’t it? Unfortunately I have to write the bloody thing and currently the page is completely blank. Sigh.

Right, what have we got in the big dustbin of delights this week? Hmmmm.. *rummage* *rummage* How about a spoof advert from Sony for MLB The Show 18!

Rocket League has a load of DLC based on the Hot Wheels toys and now they have returned the favour by creating toys of the Rocket League RC vehicles, and you even get a mini stadium to play the game.

FDG have teamed up with Sega to release Monster Boy for Nintendo Switch on physical cartridge and PlayStation 4 disc, but only in North America later this summer.

Also coming to retail will be Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality for PlayStation VR, and that should arrive in April.

Splatoon 2‘s Pearl and Marina will be getting their own amiibo toys. I am somewhat amused as the toys look like they have bright green and pink diarrhoea.

Swery has got a new game coming out, The Missing, and he’s still got his monkey as well.

Harry Potter chap Chris Columbus has signed on to write, direct and produce the movie version of Five Nights at Freddy’s for Blumhouse Productions. Columbus also directed Gremlins, so there’s a good chance the movie might not suck.

Not much of a chance though, history has proven that even with talents such as Michael Fassbender and Duncan Jones working on movies-of-video-games they still turn out to be a pile of cackspangle.

World of Warriors for PS4 was announced two years ago, with the original mobile game over three years old. It’s still coming to PS4, it’s out next month, and looks just the sort of game to distract small children when they’ve had too much Haribo.

Personally I prefer kicking a ball in to busy traffic and making the kids chase it, but the police have told me to stop doing that.

The Gravel season pass will give you five DLC packs between February and June this year which will include 2 new vehicles, 10 check point tracks, 4 new Wild Rush circuits, and 2 new Off-Road Career Events. There will also be free DLC starting with two new vehicles, Bowler Bulldog and Acciona.

It’s Bonkers Japanese Game Name of the Week time! Woo! Say hello to Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet, which is named just so you know that other bullets are not fatal at all. Good to know, eh kids? The game is out next week.

Back to movies-of-video-games with the announcement of a new addition to the cast of Detective Pikachu, which stars Ryan Reynolds as the furry little yellow chap. He’s good isn’t he, Ryan Reynolds, maybe this will be the movie to break the curse of video game movies. Let’s see who the new cast member is… it’s… Rita Ora.

Oh f**k off.

This is the prologue to the very odd Yume Nikki: Dream Diary, it doesn’t include Rita Ora and therefore is awesome.

Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal is currently in production, check out ten minutes of footage from the PS4 version including a couple of Improbable Boobs.

And Finally, extra boobs, Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash is coming to PC and this trailer is just filled with Improbable Boobs!
