Nintendo Reveal Next Week’s Additions To Switch Online’s NES Game Library

Switch online is much maligned, but playing NES games can still be a pretty good time. The initial roster of twenty games is set to grow next week on 10th October, with three additions. These include NES Open Tournament Golf – fun fact, this is Mario’s first appearance in a golf game – Solomon’s Key and Super Dodge Ball.

And no, that hasn’t stopped people complaining about the lack of cloud saves for Splatoon 2, the stability of Nintendo’s online servers, or the fact that voice chat is in a mobile app.

Speaking in a Seattle Q&A, NoA president Reggie Fils-Aime said, “Nintendo’s approach is to do things differently. We have a much different suite of experiences than our competitors offer, and we do that in a different way. This creates a sort of yin and yang for our consumers. They’re excited about cloud saves and legacy content but wish we might deliver voice chat a different way, for example.”

I mean… Yeah.
