No Man’s Sky Synthesis patch 2.27 is out and here are the notes

Plucky underdog No Man’s Sky has been updated once more with Synthesis Patch 2.27. It doesn’t do all that much to be honest, just a few tweaks and some help with Japanese translations.

The patch is now live on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Pc, here is more from Hello Games:

Hello everyone,

Thank you again to everyone playing Synthesis, especially those taking the time to report any issues they encounter via Zendesk or console crash reporting.

We are listening closely to your feedback, and have identified and resolved a number of gameplay and stability issues. Fixes for these were released on Steam experimental, and this patch, 2.27, is now live on PC and consoles.

Patch Notes

  • Fixed a potential softlock with a weekend event mission.
  • Fixed a small visual issue with jetpack trails.
  • Fixed a number of issues with the Japanese translation of new Quicksilver items.

We will continue to release patches as issues are identified and resolved. If you experience any issues, let us know by submitting a bug report.

Thank you,
Hello Games

Just before Christmas the team a Hello Games  added a music creation app to No Man’s Sky, a simple sequencer which allows you to make terrible wub-wub dubstep to annoy aliens. The music device is part of development update 2.24, here’s a little more from the developers.

Hello Everyone!

Hopefully this is a bit of a nice festive surprise for folks. We have released a neat update today, adding a full audio creation application to No Man’s Sky. We’re calling it the ByteBeat Device!

We’ve made a brief trailer to demonstrate the potential of the feature, but as always, we’re sure that you the community will take it and run with it in all sorts of unexpected directions.

Credit to community creators DjMonkey, G_Man_D, Nukie000, Whimblo and ActionPantsGaming for the bases featured in this trailer.
