Remedy Entertainment has announced that it will be releasing its surreal sci-fi thriller Control on PS5 and Xbox One but has kept details to a minimum. It is likely the game will receive some enhancements to take advantage of the next generation’s technology which should iron out some of the performance issues the game had. This version may also have the DLC bundled in.
We're glad to be able to share that @ControlRemedy will be coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. More details coming at a later date. #PlayStation5 #XboxSeriesX

In our original review for Control I wrote:
Control is one of the best story-focused single player games in years. Its unique mix of surrealism, sci-fi and mystery draws you in, but doesn’t give everything away, and the combat is fantastically varied and provides just enough challenge. A culmination of everything that went before, Control is Remedy’s magnum opus.< You can read the full Control review here. Nick then played The Foundation DLC for Control and he wrote:
The Foundation is a nice addition to the Control-verse, clocking in around 4-5 hours to complete. It’s not doing anything groundbreaking, but it is more of the same, which is a damn good thing in Control’s case. Yes, it would have been nicer for the missions to have been a bit more dynamic, but the world-building and the storytelling continue to be one of Control’s major selling points. With the next expansion set to expand the lore even further with connections to Alan Wake, it feels like Remedy is in it for the long haul.
