A new trailer has been released for Exomecha, a truly crazy looking first person shooter filled with mechs, robot dinosaurs and more. The game is coming to Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC in August 2021.
Announced in the pre-show to the Xbox Series X games showcase last August, Exomecha takes place on the planet Omecha, “a new and untouched planet with exotic environments.”
The game looks pretty wild, with ground pounding first person shooting alongside fast vehicles and giant mechs to do battle in. There’s shades of Just Cause through the grappling hook that lets you zip to vehicles, whether a 4×4 or a helicopter.
There will be a handful of game modes, with team-based battles, “a unique battle royale”, and an object-based mode. Considering there’s giant dragons and mechs battling, I’m sure there’s going to be a lot of anguish at the game’s exclusivity!
