Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn is the latest fictional character to have a cameo appearance in Epic Games’ battle royale Fortnite, hopping out from the post-apocalyptic robot battling adventure and into Fortnite’s Primal season.
From 16th April, you’ll be able to pick up various items from Horizon Zero Dawn, including the Aloy Outfit which includes her Blaze Canister Back Bling, Aloy’s Spear Pickaxe, Glinthawk Glider, Shield-Weaver Wrap, the Heart-rizon Emote, and Aloy the Skywatcher Loading Screen (bundle only). PS5 owners will also get the Ice Hunter Aloy Style if they own the Aloy Outfit.
Her addition will be preceded by the Aloy Cup, an exclusive game event for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Tomorrow, Wednesday 14th April, the mode will task your team to do battle with a focus on Aloy’s signature bow, with the top team in each region earning the Horizon Zero Dawn before it hits the item shop.
You’re still fighting to be the last player standing, earning points from where you place, but each elimination and each bow elimination adds points.

Lastly, there’s a new Duos mode featuring Aloy and Lara Croft. Starting on 16th April and running until 18th April, players will be automatically outfitted as Aloy or Lara with Aloy’s craftable Boy and Lara’s Dual Pistols the only weapons. You’ll have to upgrade weapons and fight for a Primal Victory Royale.
