Mail Time is coming to PS5 and PS4 alongside the already announced Switch and PC versions in April 2023, it has been confirmed during The Game Awards Wholesome Games’ Snack Direct pre-show event. To mark this announcement, a new trailer for Mail Time has been revealed showing the gameplay, some of the locations Mail Scout will go to, and some of the demanding customers that inhabit this world.
“Mail Time is now one delivery stop closer to release! Everyone get your fuzziest socks and your warmest cup of hot chocolate, Mail Time is on its way to your doorstep next spring.”
The description for Mail Time says, “You’re a fresh-on-the-job Mail Scout on track to complete your very first mail delivery! Glide, jump and talk your way through the Grumblewood Grove on your way to deliver the letter and become a full-fledged Mail Scout!”
In Mail Time, players will have a lot of customisation options when designing their Mail Scout. There are more than 46,000 combinations available using pronouns, colours, hair styles, skin tone, mail bags, and clothing. There are eight different locations around Grumblewood Grove, where hidden delivery paths and special bottle caps are hidden. Mail Time will also feature a number of accessibility options so as many people can experience it as possible. There are also no time limits for completing deliveries, allowing players to explore the world at their own pace. Mail Scout can also not be hurt so you can take all sorts of risks without having to worry about health loss or fall damage.
