Commandos: Origins will be getting its first major piece of DLC on November 18th, taking players to the island of Crete. The DLC is called Shadows Over Crete and it is set after the events of the German invasion of Crete in 1941. The Shadows Over Crete will add four new fully voiced missions with the Commandos teaming up with the Cretan Resistance, led by Eleni Andris.

Commandos: Origins will also add a new enemy type in the form of paratroopers who can quickly descend onto battlefields and add a new threat dimension for players. In our Commandos: Origins review, Adrian said, “Commandos: Origins is probably very good; an interesting historical setting, charming visuals, and deep and varied strategic options. You won’t notice any of that if playing on console however, you’ll be too busy wrestling with the terrible controls to be having much fun. That, and the buggy visuals, make this one to be missed unless you’re on PC.”

Commandos: Origins’ Shadows Over Crete DLC will be available for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5 for $14.99.
