Croc 2 Kingdom of the Gobbos remaster has been announced by Argonaut Games, though a release date has not yet been confirmed. What has been confirmed are the platforms Croc 2 Kingdom of the Gobbos will be available on, and those are PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series XS, and Switch. You can get a first glimpse of the game in the reveal trailer below.
Much like the remaster of the first Croc game, Croc 2 Kingdom of the Gobbos will feature a Crocpedia which contains design documents, interviews with the development team, the soundtrack, and a look at some of the content that didn’t make the game.

In our Croc: Legend of the Gobbos remaster review, I wrote, “Croc: Legend of the Gobbos remaster is a good look at how 3D platformers were put together in the 90s, but the gameplay falls seriously short of modern standards. There is just so much that could be better when it comes to the gamplay that would have made the experience more tolerable and enjoyable, but what we have is a bang average 3D platformer.”
